The Mobile Area Rugby Foundation seeks to develop and promote rugby at the youth level. The foundation hopes to broaden the community's awareness of rugby by furthering the initiatives of the sport's national governing body, USA Rugby. USA Rugby recently launched an initiative to develop youth rugby in the United States. This curriculum, Rookie Rugby, is designed to introduce young players to a non-contact version of rugby. The mission of the foundation is to bring this curriculum to our communities to provide our youth with an opportunity to enhance their experience with mainstream sports and an outlet for those looking for a different challenge.
